COOK it Forward

Cook It Forward represents a new community response strategy that aligns restaurants with traditional non-profits, community-centered corporate entities to all tackle food insecurity in a coordinated way.  This is social entrepreneurship at its core working collectively on community development, social equity, and social justice-- one meal at a time.

Independent and locally-owned restaurants that share values of Inclusivity, Community, Industry, Humility, Positivity, Health, and Safety.  The starting roster includes: Ahan, Ancora Coffee, Banzo, Casetta Kitchen and Counter, D'VINO, Green Owl Cafe, Harvest, La Kitchenette, Lucille, Madtown Food Services, Merchant, Morris Ramen, Pasture & Plenty, The Old Fashioned Tavern & Restaurant.

Collab4Good provides targeted capacity building services including communication and coordination with direct response providers— nonprofits and programs— who represent and work with the unmet food demand.  The Center for Community Stewardship is a 501(c)(3) and provides fiscal agency, compliance and accounting services.
